Figment is a participatory arts festival. Starting in New York, it now takes place in a few american cities every year and Toronto will be hosting it's first figment festival August 17-18th 2013 on Olympic island. The Cooking Fire Theatre Festival
Every year Dufferin grove hosts the The Cooking Fire Theatre Festival. It's a chance to relax under the park trees, sample a tasty organic meal cooked in the parks wood burning ovens and be entertained by the variety of theater troupes that will put on short plays over the course of the evening. Art Spin
Art spin organizes free art crawls in which participants travel to a series of Toronto art galleries by bicycle. Art spin takes place the last Thursday of the month. Promise cherry beach sundays
The beloved summer sunday afternoon dance party by the lake. Their picnics start June 1st for 2014. The event takes place every Sunday from 3-11(but check on long weekends as the party usually gets moved to Monday).
