This drop in center has been "supporting homeless, underhoused and low-income women" since 1981. They offer: free lunch, shower facilities,employment opputunities, help finding housing, donated clothing, as well as health and well-being programs and services. A few weeks ago I was approached by Lloyd while waiting for a friend who was using a bank machine. He wanted to know if I was a musician or an artist. It eventually came out that he was a poet.
