A furious wind certainly blew the leaves off the trees in a hurry this year. I walk carefully through these fallow streets with my head still clearing from the visions of summer. The air is wet, the sky is dark and the plastic poppies are blooming. It's obvious change is descending upon us and the season of death is here.
